Sermons on Ephesians (Page 2)
Stand Strong to Win Big
Text: Ephesians 6:10-13
Until Jesus comes again, Christians and the church will be at war. But, instead of fighting against an enemy with guns, bombs, IEDs, or other weapons, we are fighting an unseen but powerful spiritual enemy led by Satan and his army of fallen angels. In Ephesians 6:10-13, the Apostle Paul introduces us to the nature of our struggles and how to win in spiritual warfare.
Service with a Smile
Text: Ephesians 6:5-9
Because of God’s Word and God’s help, Christians should stand out as the very best bosses, employees or students. They have good reason to offer service with a smile. In Eph. 6:5-9 we move from the fireplace at home to the workplace or classroom where you work or study and discover what makes followers of Christ different.
Building the Godly Home
Text: Ephesians 6:1-4
In Ephesians 6:1-4, the Apostle Paul outlines what it takes to build a godly home where parents and children follow Jesus. The text reveals that there are four essential characteristics of a Christ-centered home that are building blocks.
Behind Closed Doors
Text: Ephesians 5:21-33
The true measure of church and home can be seen best behind closed doors. We see this in the letter that the Apostle Paul wrote to the church at Ephesus and to us. Open the door of church and home in Ephesians 5:21-33 and you will see God’s design that we are to follow and glorify God.
Four Spiritual Rules
Text: Ephesians 5:15-21
It’s Time To Turn On the Light
Text: Ephesians 5:7-14
In the Bible, light is a symbol of God and the life he gives. Darkness is a symbol of sin and death. We all have daily choices to make between light and darkness and the message from God in his Holy Word is choose light. We see that in Paul’s letter to the Ephesians in Chapter 5: 7-14. What will you choose?
Living Pure in a Polluted World
Text: Ephesians 5:1-6
You’ve heard of air pollution; how about water pollution? But have you ever heard about spiritual pollution? Study Eph. 5:1-6 and you will find help to live a life of purity in a world filled with spiritual pollution.
Walk the Walk and Talk the Talk
Text: Ephesians 4:25-32
We live in a day when it is important that as Christians we walk the walk and talk the talk. But, unless we allow God to control us, we will never be transformed into the walk and talk mentioned in Eph. 4:25-32. Look at these verses to see what is possible with God’s grace.
You Choose!
Text: Ephesians 4:17- 24
If you are a follower of Christ, there should be a noticeable change between how you lived before you accepted Christ and how you are learning to live as a disciple. And, your “before and after” picture is based on the choices you make on a daily basis. In Ephesians 4:17-24, the Apostle Paul presents us with two choices.
Look What God Gives His Church
Text: Ephesians 4:7-16
Being born again produces spiritual babies, but God does not want us to stay babies. He wants us to grow and mature as Christians and serve His church and kingdom. In Ephesians 4:7-16, the Apostle Paul talks about what God has given to us to help us become spiritually mature.
