Behind Closed Doors
Ephesians 5:21-33
The true measure of church and home can be seen best behind closed doors. We see this in the letter that the Apostle Paul wrote to the church at Ephesus and to us. Open the door of church and home in Ephesians 5:21-33 and you will see God’s design that we are to follow and glorify God.
(Eph. 5:21) God’s design for the home and church is one of mutual submission.
(Eph. 5:22-24) God’s design for the wife is Holy Spirit controlled submission to her husband.
(Eph. 5:25-33) God’s design for the husband is Christ-like love for his wife.
Big Idea: The church and the home shine brightest when Christ is at the center and his design is honored above all.
