Main Idea: Following Jesus must become more important than earthly comforts and family obligations
“Following” Jesus: Devoting ourselves Jesus as our leader & embracing Jesus’ priorities and mission as our own.
-Being motivated by the same rewards
-Being willing to make the same sacrifices
I. Following Jesus demands a willingness to sacrifice all earthly comforts.
II. Following Jesus demands a willingness to sacrifice all financial security.
III. Following Jesus demands a willingness to sacrifice all social stability.
IV. Following Jesus demands a willingness to sacrifice even our closest family connections.
V. Following Jesus demands making His mission more important than even our most significant earthly obligations.
