A NOTE FROM PASTOR MARK:
We recognize that family worship has its unique challenges depending on your family’s size and stage of life. Therefore, we have prepared a complete worship service (below) for our entire church family because we are convinced that Sunday is so much more than a sermon. And this is one way for us to be worshiping the same way even though we are apart.
We suggest that you test the worship and sermon links before you gather your family. After you have done this, we encourage the leader of the house to read the prayers and appoint other readers as necessary to encourage greatest participation.
After the sermon is over, we encourage you to discuss the sermon and ways to live out its application.
The Righteous Will Live by Faith
TEXT: HABAKKUK 1:12-2:4
ONLINE WORSHIP SERVICE (11.15.2020)
CALL TO WORSHIP:
As we join together in worship today, we come to praise him for his faithfulness through every season of life…..
Isaiah 25:1 – LORD, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago.
OPENING WORSHIP:
“Because of Your Love”
“Immortal Invisible God Only Wise”
AFFIRMATION:
Titus 3:3-7
3 For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another. 4 But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, 5 he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
WORSHIP:
“Mighty To Save”
“Enough”
PRAYER:
Lord, it is good that we confess together that you are enough. When the wind of troubling circumstances blows around us, your promises are the anchor that holds us securely. When worldly pressures confront us, you provide strength to withstand them.
As the Psalmist prayed….“O my Strength, I will sing praises to you, for you, O God, are my fortress, the God who shows me steadfast love” (Psalms 59:17).
“Our help comes from the you, who made heaven and earth. You will not let our feet be moved; you who keeps us will not slumber.” (Psalms 121:2–3)
Lord, as your word comes, we have need of you to strengthen us and keep us today. Speak over us and shore us up in you. Expose the places where we need to trust you more, places where we are looking to other things instead of you. And give us grace as we look into your word to see you and be changed.
Amen
