A NOTE FROM PASTOR MARK:
We recognize that family worship has its unique challenges depending on your family’s size and stage of life. Therefore, we have prepared a complete worship service (below) for our entire church family because we are convinced that Sunday is so much more than a sermon. And this is one way for us to be worshiping the same way even though we are apart.
We suggest that you test the worship and sermon links before you gather your family. After you have done this, we encourage the leader of the house to read the prayers and appoint other readers as necessary to encourage greatest participation.
After the sermon is over, we encourage you to discuss the sermon and ways to live out its application.

Ephesians 2:12-19

PRAYER:
Lord we confess today that all of our hearts have been swayed in large and small ways by election results. Whether we found this week’s decisions to be positive or negative, we admit that our hopes at times have been influenced more by politics than the reality that you reign over this world. Forgive us. You indeed are sovereign! We need to be reminded that our trust is in you, not in a politician, a political party, or a platform.
Whether or not our leaders fight for our good, we remember that you as our king have promised to do good to us always! (Jeremiah 32:40-41)
Whether or not our leaders enact good laws that reflect your character, your Word and your Truth remain the source of blessing and life for all time!
Whether or not our leaders defend the vulnerable, like the unborn or the immigrant, we know that you do and you call us to join you!
Would you now center our hearts on you?! You are our treasure, not our nation, not our politics, not our freedoms. Give us grace now to set aside all distractions and let your Word speak to our hearts. Remind us of who you are.
