This page is meant to answer the most common visitor questions that we are asked. Please let us know if there are questions that you have that we have not addressed here.
Q. When is your Worship Service and where are you located?
Our worship service is at 10:30 am downstairs in the Worship Center. We offer nursery care for children 3 and under as well as helpful materials to assist in having the older children in the service. After the service we have an awesome time of fellowship that includes wonderful desserts and great conversations for our visitors and guests. Our address with a map is found at the bottom of this page, the main doors to church that open into the lobby are downstairs so if you need to park close to the worship center you should turn right as you come onto campus.
Q. What is your nursery like?
We consider this a ministry, not merely “baby sitting.” Babies and toddlers are important to us therefore we have taken steps to offer quality care. All of our nursery attendants have been carefully screened.
Q. What if I have no church background?
Visitors are very welcome … and we will do our best to help you explore the Christian faith without the discomfort or confusion of incomprehensible language or rituals. If you have specific questions, please talk to our pastor for help. He can offer practical help through friendly discussions, printed materials or books, or classes designed to meet your needs.
Q. Will visitors be expected to do something?
There are many areas of ministry, but no one is pressured to serve or to give when they visit our church. Service and giving are for those that call this church home and are committed to the mission of Olympic. If you are a visitors and would like to be part of what is going on here at Olympic we would love to talk about getting you plugged in. Otherwise, we hope that you have a wonderful time worship, learning, and growing with us while discovering if this is the place that God is calling you to connect in a deeper way.
